National Technology Transfer Center

The National Technology Transfer Center (NTTC) is a full-service technology management center, providing access to federal technology information, knowledge management, technology assessment, technology marketing, assistance in finding strategic partners and electronic-business development services. The NTTC fosters relationships with federal clients, showcases technologies and facilitates partnerships between clients and U.S. industry.

Regional Technology Transfer Centers

NASA has established Regional Technology Transfer Centers (RTTCs) to facilitate partnerships that can connect industry technology needs with NASA technology solutions.

The Southeast RTTC (SERTTC) serves KSC and is part of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). The SERTTC is funded by NASA to:

  • Educate industry about NASA technology transfer opportunities, including licensing and partnering activities.
  • Assist companies in finding the appropriate NASA technology opportunities that best suit their product development needs.
  • Guide companies through the NASA technology transfer process.

NASA Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

The RTI is an independent, nonprofit, contract research and development organization. It is the cornerstone research center of the Research Triangle Park in North Carolina. The RTI Center for Technology Applicants provides technology management services for government and industry. RTI services include technology assessment, technology marketing, market-driven technology partnerships, licensing and cooperative agreements, training and SBIR program support.
