When do I report?
  • Make your report as soon as possible after the conception of your invention
What do I report?
  • Report a complete description in a Disclosure of Invention and New Technology, NASA Form 1679.
  • Report the availability of related additional documents such as publications, proposals, notes, and especially technical drawings. The determination that similar technology does not exist would be useful.
  • Include and document potential applications in your report.
